Team Practices in the Northwest Zone
Because the Northwest Zone is geographically one of the largest (if not the largest) zones in Edmonton, practice gym locations can be anywhere in the Northwest Zone Boundary. Practice gyms will be determined by availability so players need to be prepared to practice anywhere in our zone.
League Games in EYBA
All NW teams (execpt Mites) will play games in The Edmonton Youth Basketball Association. Games are played in Edmonton (across the city) and surrounding areas including Sherwood Park, St Albert, Morinville, Beaumont, Leduc and Parkland County.
The Northwest Zone Basketball Association was created in 2012 when the community programs of Wellington, Aldergrove, Willowby, Parkview and Glenora banded together to form one collective zone basketball program.
