2026-27 EYBA Fall/Winter Season 

Season information & Start Dates

 

Competitive Teams (Tier 1, 2, 3)

The season begins in late August (August 29, 30 and 31)with evaluation sessions at 13U and 15U levels for Tier 1, Tier 2 (and possibly Tier 3)Tryout Teams. Specific session times will be posted in mid July.

These evaluation sessions will group players of like ability/skill level onto teams to compete against similar strength teams from other community zone programs in the City. Season games for competitive teams will begin first week in October (October 1 & 2).

Community/Recreational Teams

11U through to 18U teams (Tiers 4 and lower) will compete in a developmental/recreational City League from late September (Sept 25)through early March (March 4). In March, City playoffs are held where the top tier teams will be eligible to participate in the Provincial championships later in March.

**Coaches will be in contact with players between September 15 and September 24 to provide practice and season details**

Equipment

All players require clean, indoor athletic shoes and a properly sized basketball.

Jerseys will be supplied to teams in 7U/9U, 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U categories.
