Edmonton Youth Basketball Association (EYBA) Zone Boundaries for the City of Edmonton are outlined below:
Northwest Zone: North of the North Saskatchewan River & West of 97 Street to the city limits
Northeast Zone: North of the North Saskatchewan River & East of 97 Street to the city limits
Southwest Zone: South of the North Saskatchewan River & West of Calgary Trail South to the city limits
Southeast Zone: South of the North Saskatchewan River & East of Calgary Trail South to the city limits
Zone Transfer Policy
Zone transfers for the 2023-24 Season can be requested for valid reasons and will be issued under special circumstances ONLY. PLEASE NOTE: convenience of practice times/locations etc. is not a valid reason or special circumstance and will not be recognized as such.
Team Practices in the Northwest Zone
The Northwest Zone is geographically one of the largest zones in the EYBA. As a result, practice gym locations can be anywhere in the Northwest Zone Boundary. Practice gyms will be determined by gym availability and coaches availability so players/parents should be prepared to practice anywhere within the Northwest zone. As noted above, Zone Transfers WILL NOT be granted to players/parents because they want a more convenient practice time and/or location.
